Terms of Service

1. The service

Matchlab is a web application for modelling building constructions and analysing condensation risk ("the Service"). The Service is provided by Bunch Bygningsfysik ApS, CVR no. 36 02 32 95, Staktoften 22A, 2950 Vedbæk, Denmark ("we", "us"). By creating an account or using the Service you accept these terms.

2. Accounts and access

You sign in with your email address via a one-time code. You are responsible for keeping access to your email account secure and for all activity that takes place through your sign-in. Access to the full application requires a purchase of access for a fixed period — currently one month or one year from the time of purchase. Access does not renew automatically and ends when the purchased period expires. Access is personal and may not be shared, lent or resold. The Service is intended for professional use in building design and consultancy.

3. Payment, VAT and invoicing

Payment is processed by Stripe. Prices are stated excl. VAT; applicable VAT is calculated and added at checkout based on your billing details. Business buyers can enter a VAT number at checkout, and EU reverse charge is applied where relevant. An invoice is issued automatically after purchase, and past invoices and receipts are available through the billing portal in the application.

4. Right of withdrawal and refunds

Your purchase unlocks the application immediately. If you buy as a consumer, you have a 14-day right of withdrawal under the Danish Consumer Contracts Act; by completing the purchase you request immediate delivery of the digital service, and you accept that the right of withdrawal lapses once you begin using the unlocked application. Purchases made in the course of business are not covered by a right of withdrawal. If a payment is refunded, access to the paid application is revoked.

5. Acceptable use

You may not misuse the Service, attempt to gain unauthorised access to it or its underlying systems, resell or systematically extract its material data, or use it to store or transmit unlawful material. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

6. Your data and our content

The projects, constructions and results you create remain yours. You grant us the technical licence needed to host, process and back up that data in order to operate the Service. The Service itself — including its software, design, material database and reference data — belongs to us or our licensors and may only be used through the application.

7. Professional responsibility and liability

Matchlab is a calculation and documentation aid. Results depend on the inputs you provide and on general material and climate data. The Service does not replace professional judgement, and you remain solely responsible for designs, advice and documentation you produce with it.

To the extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising out of the Service is limited to the amount you paid for access, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including loss of profit, data or contracts. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under mandatory Danish law.

8. Availability and changes

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free. We may improve or modify features over time. If we ever permanently discontinue the Service, we will give reasonable notice and a reasonable opportunity to export your project data.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. If a change is material, we will notify you by email or in the application before it takes effect. Continued use of the Service after a change takes effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

10. Governing law and venue

These terms are governed by Danish law. Disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of the Danish courts at our registered office, except where mandatory law gives consumers the right to bring proceedings elsewhere.
